The marine charity RNLI rescued a sinking fishing boat off the Pembrokeshire coast. Watch the footage here.
RNLI volunteers received a mayday call reporting a sinking vessel at 2.15am yesterday (Wednesday 28 October).
They immediately launched an all weather rescue craft to help a fishing boat, which was quickly sinking off Rat Island in Pembrokeshire. The Coastguard rescue helicopter also joined in the mission to help the crew.
Two Angle RNLI crew members jumped onto the troubled boat with a salvage pump, but upon realising the fishing boat was unsafe, the skipper gave orders to the crew and the RNLI volunteers to immediately abandon the craft and jump aboard of a life raft.
The fishermen and volunteers made it safely back to Milford Haven.
