Icom UK, together with the team from YBW.com, one of the UK’s leading marine community web portals, have updated Icom UK’s microsite to include the latest developments in marine radio including ‘Handheld DSC’ and ‘AIS’.

Icom UK’s microsite contains everything you need to know about marine radio. The site includes an overview of VHF and HF radio including which marine radios to choose, licensing and sections on ‘ATIS’ (Automatic Transmitter Identification System), ‘AIS’ (Automatic Identification System) and ‘DSC’ (Digital Selective Calling).

The site also contains an extensive FAQ section and a regular competition offering visitors the opportunity to win an Icom radio. The current competition offers the chance to win an Icom MXA-5000 Class B AIS Receiver.
