Dubbed the 'world's most luxurious ship' by its owners, Explorer has just been launched in Monaco. See pictures and video of the cruise liner below.

Explorer is the fourth addition to Seven Seas Cruises Regent fleet.

It is also the largest, able to carry 750 passengers on board.

The 14-deck ship was launched in Monaco on 13 July.

Its 14-night maiden voyage from Monte Carlo to Venice is scheduled for 20 July.

The all-suite, all-balcony ship boasts one of the highest space ratios. There is also a 1:36 guest-to-crew ratio on board.

Among the ship’s highlights are the range of accommodation on offer, including the 4,443 square-foot Regent Suite.

The lavishly appointed two-bedroom suite features an in-room spa retreat, a first at sea, that comes complete with unlimited complimentary spa treatments.

An outdoor, glass-enclosed sitting area off the dining room provides 270-degree views over the ship’s bow.

The living room features a black marble bar with chic black lacquered stools and a custom Steinway Maroque piano by famed designer Dakota Jackson.

Explorer’s signature restaurants, Compass Rose and La Veranda, reflect the cuisine of many of the vessel’s cruising destinations.

Pacific Rim is a dramatic new specialty restaurant that offers Pan-Asian dishes;  Prime 7 is a steakhouse and Chartreuse features a classic French menu with a modern twist.

There is also the Culinary Arts Kitchen, a hands-on cooking school where guests can expand their culinary skills.

For entertainment, the ornate, two-tiered, 694-seat Constellation Theatre features four astonishing new shows – Peggy Lee, Burn the Floor, Paradis and A Day in Hollywood.

There is also the Observation Lounge, which brings to life the opulence and indulgences of the Roaring Twenties, and the Explorer Lounge, which features a country club vibe, for guests to relax in.

The ship also boasts a casino, the Canyon Ranch SpaClub and library.

The Deck 11 oasis on Explorer provides an intimate setting for relaxing, swimming and enjoying the ever changing vistas.

Deck 12 offers a dedicated sports area with shuffleboard, putting greens, golf nets, bocce court, paddle tennis and jogging track.

Seven Seas Explorer, which was built at the Fincantieri shipyard in Genoa, Italy, will spend its inaugural season in Europe, cruising ports such as Stockholm, Copenhagen and St Petersburg.

It will then head to Miami for a series of Caribbean voyages.
