Pictures: Sunseeker's Princess AVK completes sea trials

Sunseeker's 48 metre yacht has just finished sea trials off the coast of the UK.

The Princess AVK was unveiled by Sunseeker in January at its build shed in Poole, and is the second tri-deck 155 Yacht to be built by the company.

Following the successful completion of sea trials, the vessel will now be available for charter for the first time in May.

The craft boasts six cabins for up to 12 guests, including a full beam master suite, two VIP staterooms, and three double cabins. The forward lower deck area can accommodate up to ten crew with a separate captain’s cabin located adjacent to the wheelhouse.

Key features include a full-length stone finished bar in the upper saloon and a port-side balcony which offers uninterrupted views from the lower saloon.

The Princess AVK is powered by twin 16V 4000 series MTU M93 engines delivering an increased top speed of up to 24 knots. It is ideally suited for long distance cruising.

The 155 Yacht took around two years to build, and is the largest and most advanced yacht Sunseeker has ever produced.

Speaking at the launch of Princess AVK, Sales Director at Sunseeker International, Sean Robertson, said: “We are delighted to have reached this milestone with the second 155 Yacht, our flagship model in our range. It marks an exciting new phase in its completion and we look forward to its official launch later this year”.

The first 155 Yacht, Blush was unveiled in 2014, and was built for the Jordan Family Trust.
