Gipsy is the first superyacht in OTAM’s custom range.

At 35 metres long, the three deck SD35 yacht has a semi-displacement hull, giving a top speed of 20 knots.

It has a range of more than 2,000 nautical miles at 11 knots.

The Italian shipyard has announced that Gipsy will receive her world premiere at the Monaco Yacht Show, which runs from 28 September-1 October.

The aluminium superyacht has been designed by the Tommaso Spadolini design office.

Gipsy has been commissioned by an experienced Italian owner who wanted an aluminium yacht built to fit his lifestyle on the water.

This has a resulted in a unique amount of living space on board, with a customised layout tailored to the client’s needs.

The main deck is completely dedicated to guest’s daily activities, with a 40 square metre main salon with movie theatre and a full beam dining area forward.

The main deck also hosts the service areas, with a fully furnished galley and a 25 square metre pantry, with separate access for the crew.

The four VIP cabins, with twin and double beds and relative en-suites baths, are on the lower deck, in an area connected by a hallway to the crew’s quarters.

Here too, crew access is carefully located without infringing on guest privacy.

The crew quarter is equipped with four cabins and washrooms, the laundry and storerooms.

The full owner’s upper deck, offering exclusive views and complete privacy, was expressly requested by the client.

The layout also includes day-heads on each deck, allowing the owner to host a considerable number of guests.

With its 7.8 metre beam, Gipsy also has a decreased draft to extend cruising grounds.

The hull below the waterline features semi-tunnels that make the SD35 a very versatile yacht, perfect for a comfortable cruise in international waters like the Caribbean.
