Bavaria Catamarans will official launch its Nautitech 46 Open at the International Multihull Boat Show.

Drafted by yacht designer Marc Lombard, Bavaria Catamarans’ new Nautitech 46 Open reflects thirty years’ experience of French catamaran construction and German interior design, through Bavaria Yachts.

The 14 metre long catamaran has an open cockpit and lots of space in the saloon and cabins, described by Bavaria as “open concept”. This continues the theme from the company’s successful Nautitech 40 Open,

Customers can decide between a three or four cabin version. The three cabin comes with a luxurious owner´s cabin in the port hull, with bedroom, workspace, shower, bathroom and storage space.

The Nautitech 46 Open is powered by two, 40 hp Volvo Penta diesel engines with Saildrive. The yacht comes with a 74 square metre mainsail as standard, along with a 38 square metre self-tacking jib. A highlight is the yacht’s double helm.

The Nautitech 46 Open is manufactured in Rochefort on the Atlantic Ocean, and is available for test sailings this spring.

The catamaran will be officially unveiled on 13 April , the first day of the International Multihull Boat Show at La Grande-Motte in France.
