The Metropolitan Police are hunting child sex offender Michael Crabb who could be using the British canal network to evade capture.
Convicted child sex offender Michael Crabb hasn’t been seen since he was released from prison on licence on 17 March 2016.
Now, detectives in Wandsworth, London are appealing for the public’s help to find him.
Crabb, who is 53, is wanted on a recall to prison. He was last seen in Uxbridge, Middlesex.
His licence conditions were imposed following his conviction and subsequent nine year prison sentence for child sex offences.
He is alleged to have breached these conditions by failing to notify the police of a change of address.
The Metropolitan Police says Crabb has links to Uxbridge, Iver, Slough and Warwickshire.
He has also in the past sought refuge on barges, and has links to the British canal system.
If seen, Crabb should not to be approached and the public are asked to dial 999 immediately.
