Sailors from the Bermuda, the US, Canada, England, and Finland have accepted invitations to sail in the 1999 Internation Invitational Race Week.The sailors will compete in one-design racing Sunday April 25th through Friday April 30th. Prizegiving will be at Royal Bermuda Yacht Club Saturday May 1st.

Two courses will be set in Bermuda’s Great Sound. Alpha Course will be for keel boats including 16 Etchells, 8 J-24’s and 10 International One Design’s. Bravo will be the dinghy course with 10 Comets, 13 Lasers and 18 Snipes.

During the week international visitors in each class will also enjoy parties hosted by the local Bermuda classes. Wednesday is a lay day, so all will have the opportunity for a free day to enjoy the sights and attractions for which Bermuda is famous.
