One of the world’s leading suppliers of high performance marine diesel engines for luxury pleasure craft and sports cruisers, has launched a new 24-hour customer service hotline covering Europe, The Middle East and Africa.

Geneva-based Caterpillar S.A.R.L. through its dealer network has provided an additional communication channel to the growing number of owners of Cat powered pleasure craft, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, via the single telephone number: 41 22 849 9333.

The hotline, which has been designed as part of an ongoing initiative to maximize customer satisfaction with Cat engines, will allow customers to talk to technical experts at the Caterpillar dealer. The dealer will then be able to provide advice over the telephone and if necessary, arrange for an engineer to visit the vessel at the earliest opportunity.

Commenting on the new hotline, Caterpillar’s James Clabburn who has been responsible for its introduction said:

“The objective of the customer service hotline is to maximize the Caterpillar dealer network to provide fast, efficient service to its marine pleasure craft customers. The number provides the marine pleasure craft customer with direct access to the appropriate area of expertise within our extensive dealer network.”
