Priming and Surface Preparation
Correct surface preparation is the key to successful bonding. Where there are weak or contaminated surfaces, extensive preparation maybe needed to ensure a perfect bond.

Sikaflex-290i DC is used exclusively for caulking joints in traditional timber decks for boat and yacht construction

Sikaflex 291i is a non-sag, one component polyurethane adhesive/sealant specifically developed for the marine market where structural strength is not critical
Bonding
Sikaflex-292i is a non-sag, one component polyurethane adhesive with a paste-like consistency which cures on exposure to atmospheric moisture to form a durable elastomer
